Default Caring Bridge Site

Please Login to Remove!

I love my new Pearl and have email/web use with US Cellular. I am able to cruise the web, do email, have added Ramble and it works great and even got a Universal Freedom Bluetooth keyboard that i got connected and working successfully. The main reason I did this was so I could update a caring bridge site that I have set up to access with journal updates from the hospital when my husband has his surgery. (Major surgery that we will be in the hospital for several weeks with) I have tried to update the journal site from my blackberry and it won't enter or save the entry. I have contacted Caring Bridge and received their technical spec sheet which I think I have set up correctly for browser configurations. I still can't get the saved journal entry to post to the site. Does anyone have any experience with this or suggestions? Thank you!
Catherine

Catherine, welcome to the BBF.

Are you using their wap mobile site? Do they have one? There must be a browser setting on your BB that might help. Have you checked the browser options and browser configuration there?

Wow, thank you for such a fast response. I have checked the browser options and configuration on the pearl. Really strange that I can't get it to work! I am hoping that caring bridge might have a response, but so far nothing...(I started there....) Maybe someone will have used the site from their blackberry. Seems like you should be able to post a comment/blog from your bb. I will check and see if they have a wap mobile site. Not sure what that is but will investigate. Thank you!

Ask them if they have a mobile or wap site. Some blogs sites have a way you simply email a blog or journal entry to your page.

WAP stands for "wireless access point". Generally speaking, the same site as you already using, but optimized for viewing and using from a mobile device like a BB.
