I recently bought my first Blackberry.... an 8130 Pearl.

Now, my parents bought me a memory card, but I haven't yet put it in. I accidently took some pictures, and noticed that in the bottom left corner the number decremented meaning that there was less memory for pictures. After deleting the pictures, the number did not go back to what it was before.

Does this mean that I have less memory? or is it simply not updating? Do I need to delete this pictures in another way?

Any light you can shed on this would be awesome..... thanks guys.

If you deleted it, it is deleted. The BB may not release that memory space until you have rebooted though. Look at Options > Status, what is the File Free #? Pull the battery on the BB and reboot. Check the File Free # again.

Install your Media Card, and in your camera options, make sure the pictures are set to default save to the Media Card.
