Arrow BlackBerry with a Mac & download Facebook - 04-14-2008, 11:04 AM

Hi,

I have a BlackBerry Pearl and I would like to download facebook for blackberry but when I go on the page to download it with my blackberry there is a problem. I can't download it because of the Error HTTP 500. What can I do ?

Another question I have Pocketmac and when I sync my bb there is an error: Unable to connect to BlacBerry. What can I do?

Thank you!

So I went on the Facebook for BB download page (http://na.blackberry.com/eng/devices...b_tab_download) with my BB sure. Then I read the conditions, I accept them but after is the trouble.

My BB don't want to download Facebook. Actually the download progress stay at O%.

The signal is strength, it works with my Mac every day! But I don't have the BlackBerry option it's maybe the reason?

I don't believe there is a Mac app to load applications. Try PocketMac

It's buggy, not very intuitive and the there is no bluetooth sync that I am aware of.

FYI: I have never used Missing Sync, and typically I do any syncing/loading from my work laptop that has XP. It is my only regret switching from PC to Mac is the lack of Blackberry support/products.

Make sure you are using a powered USB port. If you are trying to connect via a hub or the ports on the Mac keyboard you will have problems.

Missing Sync for Blackberry from Markspace will work with your Blackberry/Mac much better than Pocketmac will. One is free, one costs money - that's a clue as to which one works better. ;)

dude I had the same problem... You can ONLY install facebook app via windows and internet explorer. Luckily My GF has a pc I am on a mac. You might want to consider installing Windows on a partition on your mac (assuming it is intel) if you are on leopard (10.5) there is a tool that will do this for you.
