is there any sms applications available for blackberry at all. i am not too fund of the way the texting is set up. why cant i respond with anther text until i recieve a response form the last one. that sucks to have to go to my address book to send another text.

is there any other application that does sms maybee an IM application that also does sms? i can't find anything on the web.

why do you go to your address book. just hit menu > send SMS from the message screen.

i do not believe there is anything out there available for BlackBerry that does what you're wanting it to do.

jerseykat1 is looking for more of a threaded / chat style SMS app (Treo style or BB Messenger style) if I understand correctly.... I agree and have never understood why RIM hasn't buit in this capability (could even be an extension of BB Messenger).

if the person you sent the text to has not responded yet there is no option for reply. it wont allow me to send back to back text messages in that same converastion.

wont be the same conversation, but it will allow you to send it the way i described.

it doesnt have to be threaded but that would be nice. i just want something better then what is there. my text messages are all over the place. and i have it seperated from my e-mails. its just annoying.
