Hey I'm new to the blackberry world. And I know this is probably a stupid question, but here goes anyway.

Why can't i get the ringer volume very loud? and Why does it vibrate twice then ring, even when I have it set to Loud?

Welcome to BBF.

If you turn the volume up, in Profiles then that's all you get.

Vibe then ring is what you get when you have Vibrate+Ring set. It won't vibe and ring at the same time.

Actually you have to go to Profiles>Advanced and play with the settings for each profile. It's _not_ very intuitive, but if you keep digging eventually you can find the way to get all your various rings and signals working. Have fun...

This would be an excellent subject for a FAQ sticky if someone had the patience to write it up [ie. not myself...]
