Hey all, long time to post.

I've been putting off for a while putting different MP3's on my phone for ringtones.

Does anyone know the easiest (as well as FREE) method of cutting or editing an MP3 so that it starts at the right time (for example having the phone ring and starting the song half way through).

If anyone has done this please let me know of an easy way to git 'er done.

I use a free program called Audacity 1.3 to edit .mp3 files. You'll need to download a .dll file to use the program with that format, but you can find it very easily on Google.

I use a program called tracktor dj studio that i downloaded off of limewire for free and i make my own ring tones

You could also use Sony Acid Pro off of limewire.
