Hello everyone, I've just bought my first Blackberry (an 8110) and have imported all of my contacts from outlook 2003 into my new phone using desktop manager 4.3 however although it said over 700 contacts were being transferred when i look on my phone there are no addresses at all. All of the calendar dates and tasks have transferred fine though.
I used to have a Nokia 6110 and have taken the Sim card out of that which is vodafone uk, the blackberry is vodafone uk and i can make and receive calls on it but also cannot view any contacts on the sim card either.
I have also created a csv file by exporting from outlook, then imported from desktop manager onto my blackberry but again i cant actually see anyone although it says over 700 were imported.
I have changed the filter on the bb from personal to business but it doesnt show anyone in either. I sort of hope this is something simple as have bought the phone from e-bay but can't work it out so any help would be greatly appreciated.

try a hard reset of the BlackBerry. Pull the battery out while the device is still on, wait 30 seconds, then put the battery back in... hopefully it will boot with your contacts.

Nope, still no addresses either in business or personal and no addresses on sim card. Thanks for the suggestion though.
