Default problem with moby tv

I just installed the moby tv application, that installed fine but when i run the application it gets stuck at this screen that says retrieving device list, and it say connecting progress and it goes all the way up to 100 percent then is just hangs and it doesn't do anything. i have the pearl 8100 and i am with t-mobile.
