Unhappy Calendar Synch Problems With Outlook

Please Login to Remove!

Everytime I synch, the program wants to delete old items from Outlook (the place I need to keep them), but it keeps everything on the Blackberry. My Blackberry is set to keep all calendar items "forever" and the synch config is set to "all events." I have even tried setting a filter in DM for "today and all events after" and I also tried setting, in DM, a range of days for "500 days before and 500 days after". None of these things work. Any advice I how I can get the synch to stop deleting my calendar items in Outlook? I have not been synching (and desperately need to) because I dont want to delete/lose anything. Thanks.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

Hmm. There may be a cap as to how many days or data the handheld will hold with regard to calendar items.

Thanks for the reply. The problem is not with the Blackberry; it is keeping everything. The DM Sync wants to delete old items in Outlook on my PC.

What DM version are you using, if 4.3 switch back to 4.2 I had the same problem.

Thanks! I am using DM 4.3, but I don't think that I ever had 4.2; my Blackberry is only a few months old. How do I get 4.2?

Right here...Select the 8703 BB, 4.3 is know to have problems. Just download 4.2 from that site.

Thanks for your help! I downloaded 4.2 and I no longer have the "deletion problem".
