I've had my BB Pearl for a number of months now, and have been able to sync my calendar and address book (Outlook) without issue (once I finally got it to work). All of a sudden - today (was working fine yesterday) my calendar won't sync. Tried the "battery pull-remove intellisync directory from my pc-reset configuration in desktop mgr. software" method to fix things, but things only got worse.
Now when I connect my BB to my PC I get a msg that says..."Exception Processing Message c0000013 Parameter 75b6bf9c etc....." and my pc tries to autoplay my device. I can choose cancel - try again - or continue to remove the error message (and I usually close out the autoplay thing).
Calendar still won't sync. Address book remains ok. Any ideas?
FYI for anyone who has this problem - it can be fixed....
I opened options, advanced options, service books and deleted all my email accounts with CICAL references. Then connected my BB to my desktop, ran desktop manager. Had to delete all my previous calendar entries (ended up with duplicate entries the first time). Did this by going into Desktop Manager, Back Up and Restore, Backup.....Found "calendar all" entry on the right side and selected "clear".
I was then able to resync my outlook calendar and to my BB, desktop manager sent all new calendar entries w/ou any duplicates.
I then logged into Blackberry Internet on my pc, resent my service books and my email accounts were restored. Everything is back into working condition - yay!
I've found this happens only when one individual at work sends a meeting request. She uses Entourage (Mac). Whenever she sends out a request it kills my Calendar sync through Desktop Manager. It's happened twice in the last two weeks. The first time it fixed itself because I had to return the BB to Verizon and when I set up the new sync the suspected calendar item was in the past so Desktop Manager didn't try to sync it. I'm not sure how I'm going to fix it this time, or how I'll be able to avoid it in the future (she sends out these requests twice a month).
