Default Broken 8100

Please Login to Remove!

hey guys, today i managed to drop my 8100 on the floor from about waist height (long story, but it fell out of some jeans i was carrying).. when i picked it up it was showing a black screen and when i took the battery out and put back in nothing happened, so i knew i was in trouble.. i then plugged it into the charger and the LED flashed a constant red for a few seconds then went off. i also tried connecting to my computer but it is not being recognised, so i guess that means that it isnt just a broken lcd?
any help at all would be much appreciated.
cheers,
theo.

I think having a case may help protect it some on the drops. Have a cheap $10 silicone case that covers everything but the screen. Have dropped mine pretty hard once and still works great.
