I have flipped back and forth between the 8300/8310. I am currently back to the 8100 and I have a issue that I really dont like....

On the 8300 I was able to seperate the messages, (email from SMS) on the 8100 the are all in the same folder, So when I delete my SMS I also delete my emails.

Any Help?

I looked where I was able to seperate them in my 8300, but I dont see the seperating option on the Pearl

go into message icon>press menu>options>general options>scroll down to sms and email inboxes change to seperate

I know thats where I used to do it in my 8300,I dont have that option in that location Is it possible I am running a older version OS?

are you using a stock theme or custom theme?

yep, has to do with OS version. Older versions do not have this feature. Try updating the 8100 to the latest OS here on the boards and see if it is there then.

It was added in OS 4.2.1.x. It was not included in 4.2.0.x
