It takes quite a while to do anything.

Phone was fine for 2 weeks, but now it takes a while to end calls, it loads to scroll through the main menu. And it won't show any missed calls! It shows the loading hour glass very excessively when i try to do about anything.

Any suggestions?

Do a hard reset (remove battery for 30+ seconds).

Sound like memory issues.

1) Make sure you aren't running extra applications. Hold down the bottom left key while pressing the arrow key (to the right of the trackball). This will scroll through the applications running. 1 by 1 stop on the application and use the menu key to close that application. If you use the red button (two buttons to the right of the trackball) to exit an application, the application is left running in the background.

2)check your amount of free memory, by going to Options and then Status. when this starts getting low you will have problems.

There is also several references to memory leakage problems on this board, so after you have done all you can to free memory you should take out the battery for a few seconds and then put it back in. that should free up any memory that has been lost through leakage.

pulling the battery made it much better.

How should i close programs, do i have to click menu and scroll to close everytime?, or use the arrow just right of the trackball?

Select close (or exit) from the application's menu.
