Default Using Pearl on your local WIFI?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys,

I am new to the forum, and had a question. I have a WIFI network at my house, and wanted to know if I could use my local internet for my phone. Possibly use it to download applications. Just wanted to know what you guys think. Let me know. Thanks.

If you have the 8100, no you can't use wifi. It has no wifi receiver in it.

Your profile says you have an 8100. The 8100 does NOT have wifi. If you have an 8120, the 8120 has wifi. Look in Options >About to find out your model number.

"Wireless" is the wireless radio...that's cell service.

Nope. If you want wifi, get the 8120. It requires different hardware on the device.

Sorry. TMobile offers the 8100 and the 8120. The 8120 is brand new. If you are within the 14 days you can return it and get the 8120. Looks like it's only $50 more.
