Exclamation BB Pearl 8130 too slowwww

I'm new to the forums so bare with me on this,

I've been an owner of the Verizon Wireless blackberry 8130 pearl for 6 months now and it has worked fine up until last week where it has been doing everything reallllly sloww. From typing text messages to moving the scroll wheel. Everything is about 1 sec too slow. Is there an easy fix or new OS upgrade to fix this problem??

Anyone have any advise, solutions?

restart. do a battery pull.
