Default Desktop manager

I just installed it and created a profile to use
I plugged my BB into the USB port but the desktop manger isn't reading that it's there.

I now have one more problem, sorry.
So I just tried adding music and it tells my the file exceeds the max file limit for the device. Do I need one of those mini SD memory cards to hole music?

Yes, you should put your music on a microSD memory card.
Do NOT store music in device memory. There's simply not enough room to play with.
