I had a 8100 last year. I just switched back to Blackberry with a 8120 and it seems kind of sluggish... When putting on keyboard lock, opening programs, switching programs.


I am not running any video or music. Bluetooth is off. Only program that is really running is the GMail app and internet browser.

Press the ALT key + the Escape key to see what all is really running.

Wow- There was a lot of stuff... When I try to close "messages" by going to menu-button and then "close", it still shows up in that list. Same for browser, call log, bb messenger...

There are some programs that will always show in that list, which are the ones you listed.

Correct--those four or five will always run in the background.

What else was in there?

Facebook, but I just deleted it... Camera was running, and a couple others. But it still seems a little slower than my 8100...

Off-topic, but, is there an auto-lock feature after a certain amount of minutes?
