Default Downgrade OS?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, how do I downgrade my OS on my 8100 Pearl.? I have the 4.5.0.18 and I want to switch it back but, I read the FAQ on how to downgrade and it says I need to remove the OS in control panel but the thing is that I reformatted my harddrive now I don't have that in there, what can I do now? Thanks

did you download the latest official release of the 8100 OS? and remove the vendor.xml file? if so just connect your device and launch DM.

And if it doesn't ask if you want to replace, what should I do?

Uninstall the version you don't want (via Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs).
Locate and delete VENDOR.XML
Restart Desktop Manager should do it now.

No love. I ended up having to use loader.exe /nojvm to load it, as described here:
