Default A Few Questions

Please Login to Remove!

1) I just changed my number and I want it to show the new number. I have "Show My Number" on already, but in the "My Number" section of the "Call Screen," it says "Unknown Number." How do i fix that?

2) When it's charging and the phone goes to "Sleep/Standby Mode" or is turned off, how do I know when the charging has finished within exiting "Sleep/Standby Mode" or turning the phone back on?

3) What is Push Services? Is it free?

4) How big do the files get (pictures, recordings, etc.)? I'm thinking of just getting a 2GB MicroSD.
Is this good enough?
Newegg.com - Kingston 2GB MicroSD Flash Card with 2 adapters (miniSD and full-size SD) and USB reader Model MBLY/2GBKR - Flash Memory
I need the adapters.

I might have more questions but that's all I can think of right now. This is on the 8120.

Wirelessly posted (8700g)

1 - go to advanced options and edit SIM phone number

2 - not sure what you mean. At least in my case, the battery icon is showing even when locked. If your blackberry is powered off, you will have to turn it on.

3 - push services include push email and things like weather reports. You must purchase blackberry-specific data service, aka blackberry data plan.

8120 is not natively capable of GPS you will need an external GPS puck

Yes. Google Maps does the cell tower triangulation thing without GPS but with GPS (bluetooth or internal) will give you the very accurate GPS location instead.

Ok, new question:

5) How do I input my PIN Code to enable Security in Options->Advanced->SIM Card? I can type them in and all but I don't know if it's appearing the letters, which I have tried but said it was wrong, unless this is asking for a different PIN Code?
