When I transferred my contacts from my SIM card t my BB it made all the phone numbers work numbers, is this normal? Do I have to get a Memory Card to download themes and trackball colors from here?

Welcome to the forums.

When you transfer your contacts from a regular cell phone SIM to the BB, I believe the default field is the 'Work' field. You can use the select/cut/paste feature to move them, or just retype them.

As for the memory card, you cannot store themes or trackball colors on it. Those go on the device memory.

I would recommend following the first post in this thread to optimize your device memory:

A PIN is a unique designator for each BlackBerry device. If you know someone else's PIN (and/or they know yours) you can send BB to BB messages (these message do not go thru email). The PIN is also used when you send/receive messages via BlackBerry Messenger.

Some people like to advertise their PIN and get 'buddies' and some choose to only give it out to those they want to have it.

Just a little side note. You will need to have a blackberry data plan for PIN messaging to work.
