Default T-Mob service w/ Cingular pearl 8100

Please Login to Remove!

I'm sure this has come up before...my service is through t-mobile but bought a cingular blackberry pearl 8100 from a friend. I tought all I needed to do was plug my sim card in? The phone is unlocked but still says invalid sim?! Am I screwed? Any info would be helpful! Thanks, noob

welcome to the forums.
invalid SIM means it isnt unlocked. contact the third link in my sig to get it unlocked

Thanks guys...the phone is unlocked now. Since it's a Cingular phone, will I have any trouble when I sign up with T-mob BB email?

No, you shouldn't have any problem... TMo doesn't care as long as it is unlocked.
