I've had my blackberry pearl 8120 less than 24 hours and already it has a symbol on I just can't find in the book. My best efforts at scouring the internet for some sort of legend have also failed.

Basically its above the "Orange" sign and it is a number 2 with a square with horizontal lines across it and a star in the top left corner. I've gone through all the message folders but it doesn't seem to be anything there. There are no appointments yet in the calendar so it can't be that and I haven't missed any calls yet.

Would greatly appreciate any ideas!!

From your message folder hit the menu key and select view folder.

Have a look through all the folders there.

My guess is a BB Messenger message. Open BB Messenger and see who's there!

Hello I am new to the site as well. I have had my phone for about 3 days now and I have the same symbol as the first post. I got it when I was trying to confirm that I was connected to to the networks since I am having trouble sending MMS messages and I can't use the GPS I am paying for. I have also looked through all the message boxes and can't find a thing. Anyone know where I can find these messages? Thanks.

This symbol was an Email message that was not showing up in my box. I managed to find them. Not sure how though.
