i've never actually pulled out my battery before, so i just decided to do it just for kicks, but i noticed that my device memory magically increased by a lot! did it somehow delete a bunch of stuff that i had initially, or is this actually blackberry magic?!

Check out the Soft Reset software available (search for it). It uses minimal memory and is much easier than the hassle of a battery pull. I think most on the board agree it's worth having on the Pearl.

I think that I'm gonna download it, I have the pearl, as u can tell from my signature, and I have the pearl color changer and the auto lock download too, it is from geekandproud.org
