I have a white background that i want to use on my BB, however, with the theme i have, i cannot see the battery life, or signal strength. Is there any way to either make those icons black (or any other color), or when setting images to my background; make the top and bottom black. For example, a picture I have doesnt fit the whole screen, so the BB makes the default top and bottom of the picture white.

Kind of a newb question, sorry. Any help would be appreciated.

If i can, I would prefer to avoid changing themes because the other themes I have on the phone arent as nice.
