Default BB IM notification - 05-15-2008, 11:22 AM

Just bought the wife a new 8120 and I can't figure out how to make the alert sound when she gets a new blackberry IM.

I've gone into the profile and selected the chirp and various other sounds, but all we get is the red flashing light.

It will vibrate when turned to that profile, but no sounds.

Any suggestions? I'm pretty sure it's something insanely stupid that I've completely overlooked.

Thanks!!

I have a 8310 so I'm not sure if this will help.

Under Profiles > (sroll down to) Advanced > left button > Edit. Select the program and then option come up.

Hope this helps.
