Exclamation Quiet NOT ignore! - 05-15-2008, 12:26 PM

Is there a way on a Blackberry Pearl 8130 to QUIET an incoming call WITHOUT hitting ignore?

It's just that ignore sends the person straight to voicemail, doesn't it? And I don't like people knowing I'm ignoring their call. I just don't want to listen to my phone ring forever after I've looked at it and decided I'm not going to answer.

Call me a humbug =] (No really, it's just all those pesky ex-boyfriends calling! lol)

Just hit the volume button on the side. Then those pesky ex's won't know you are giving them the finger and sending them to voicemail!

Or just change all of your Ex's name entries to be "Do not answer". Then you don't even have to wonder which one was bugging you! Ha!

There is a mute button on the top of my 8310, I am pretty sure the Pearl has one also...just hit that.

I mess with mine and have other people answer my phone when they call, but hitting any of the side buttons will mute the ring.

Whoop!

Yeah, I found that out when I stuck my face really close to the top to try and figure out where my music was coming from. I was like "Oh! Look! I bet that speaker button with a slash through it is the mute button!" lol
