Smile Ringtones - 05-15-2008, 04:34 PM

I tried making ringtones on funformobile.com using wavepad. Everytime I send a 30 second ringtone to my phone it is shorter. The ringtone would only be 10-16 seconds long. Is there a way to get the ringtone longer? Also is there a way to get the phone to vibrate while its ringing and not vibrate then ring?

Here us what you need...
Increase amount of rings before voicemail - BlackBerryFAQ

It can only vibrate first, then ring--not simultaneously.

Thanks for the info but what I meant to say was that the ringtone only last 10-16 seconds then starts over. I was wondering is there is another way to create a ringtone and download the full length of the ringtone.

Make sure the ringtone is is under 30 seconds long and less the 512kb... I know in the past those limits applied, maybe they still do.

Smile Way to edit ringtones for your blackberry - 05-17-2008, 11:10 AM

Found an awesome website last night after trying for like 3 hours! I can't believe that they make it so hard for you to edit songs for ringtones for your blackberry! I found a website called: Myxer - Download Ringtones and More. On this site you can register as a musician and it will let you download songs from your computer and pick whatever segment you want to use as a ringtone. Also it emails it to you to download and you don't even have to connect a USB cord to the computer or anything. Way easy! After you have received it on your phone, you just save it as a ringtone! Don't know why this website is not more known for blackberry users, or any mobile phone user for that matter. It's so easy and works great!
