New to this forum and couldn't find this in the search option; long time Vz customer, but can't find out how to download ring tones (or songs), I'm still used to the "get it (the money-lol) now" thing. Can you download from Vz?

make your own and load em up through the desk top manager. Or see the media section here and there are more than one tone sites listed

Yea you can use regular mp3's transfer them to your BlackBerry, on a media card (preferably) and set them as your ringtone any .mp3 type file will work.

You can also send tones to the Verizon Web site. You set up an account, load your pictures and tones, then you can send them to your phone.

thats way to much work when you can load them your self from the DM

I'm new to BlackBerry and even newer to this site. Is it possible to customize my ringtones (Bruce Springteen perhaps?) on my new BlackBerry Pearl, either by downloading (or uploading ), or using itunes from my MacBook? Can anyone help me?

yes you can download straight to your device I use cellsea.com

I send them to different phones and rarely hook my BB up to DM. This is a place I can store them and send them OTA--works for me. Just another option.

True I just dont like loading stuff on to a corporate website. Especially ringtones you could get into copy right infringement

Just tried cellsea.com and I realized that it's a monthly subscription. I don't mind paying for a ringtone once, but $10 per month seems alot just to have one download. Am I missing something? Is there anyway I can just pay to download it to my phone and pay one once?
