I am able to use my 8100 as a modem for my laptop but have a problem. The first page on my laptop loads but will not load another page. i know its connected cause im getting online with it.

Also, is there a way to speed up this tethered connection by any chance?

Can't help the first one; the second one - speeding up the connection.. EDGE is EDGE. You are going to get 80-90k thruput and not much more.... It is not designed for high speed data connections. EVDO Rev. A, WiFi and 3G are.

3G, I see. So, that's why my razor was a bit quicker. It's a shame that BB isnt much more than 80-90k! :(
