My Pearl is two weeks old and after I saw that I had one roaming call after my first abbreviated billing cycle (I don't understand why it roamed locally), I remembered to turn off "automatic" under network connections and made sure that HOME was saved (only stay on Sprint network). Since then, when I check my local usage online, I see that my roaming minutes continue to go up on a daily basis!
I am totally perplexed and today I called Sprint tech and she had me re-register the routing tables and hopefully that will work. If not, she said the only other solution is to re-provision the BB from scratch. I am wondering if this is a BB problem or the way Sprint's system is tracking roaming. I have been with Sprint for 10+ years and have never had a roaming call. Any ideas why I seem to be roaming while the BB is definitely configured to be in HOME mode?
My prior call guard thread of course has to do with this and was posted before my call to Sprint.
