Default How to send/receive mails on BB Pearl 8100 without BES & BIS.

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All,

I have a BB pearl 8100 and my mobile operator doesn't support BB services. They can only provide GPRS. Please suggest how can i use my BB to send/receive mails with any other kind of support. Or is there any option to daily update or copy mails to my BB thru laptop.

Thanks,

Prakash.

You can use GMAIL (Google Mail), create an account and it works like a breeze.
On the BB open h**p://www.gmail.com/app, get the app installed, open up permissions and you're all set to go.

Bear in mind to turn off background checks, on the options menu, otherwise will consume GPRS traffic very heavily.

Regards

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

I concur with adaga. Gmail App is your best option.
