8130 Verizon Downgrade?

Question 8130 Verizon Downgrade?

Hey guys my wife has the 8130 from Verizon and swears the texting is different from that of her Tmobile Pearl. The only thing I can think of is to downgrade the software, but Verizon only has the latest for download. I got the Telus 4.3.0.65 but wanted to make sure it would be ok to install as long as i remove the vendor.xml since they are both CDMA. Thanks a ton.

hmm now that im midway through install im realizing this os version probly isnt old enough. Is there a 4.2 os compatible with the 8130?

No it came with 4.3 on it. And it may very well be different and an OS change wont fix it. Each device is a little different than the previous.

bummer that was kind of what i figured. I guess she will just have to get over it lol.
