Default How Do I Send a Reply to An Email?

Please Login to Remove!

I have a bb8130... I hit 'reply' type my message, and when I press the menu button OR the trackball, I never have a 'send' option...just 'save draft'.
What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Have you ever sucessfully sent a message from this BB? Are you replying to a text or email? It may be the sending address.

Can you compose one from scratch?

I had that happen a while back on my 8100. A battery pull solved the problem. Maybe that will work for you too?

Yes I've been able to send emails successfully. Yes I can compose from scratch. I'm trying to reply to a message sent from a hotmail account. Not sure about others (Notes or Gmail.)

Ok, start with a battery pull as Wanda suggested. If that fails you should check your email setting: menu>options>Advanced>Message Services "Which account does it list?"

While viewing the email on your BB, highlight the from address and from the BB menu, select "show address." Is it a properly formed email address? It may be the sender's "reply to" also.

I've just started having this problem on one of my Employee's phones too. I've tried a battery pull numerous times, and whenever I go to reply to a test (or ANY email for that matter) it does not give me a "Send" option. If I start an email from scratch I can send it, however it will not let me reply at all to other emails.

Looks like your email is not properly set up. Can you send an email from the address you are being sent messages to (not reply)?
Sometimnes BES allows you to receive emails from a personal address but not send from it.
