Default Autologin to GMAIL

Please Login to Remove!

I just got my 1st BB, the TMob Pearl 8120. I'm really liking it so far, and I've managed to figure out most things so far. One question I have is with GMail. On my other phones, when you sign in there is check box for remember data so that you don't have to enter your login and password each time. On my BB I don't have that option, so each time the phone reboots or powers on, I have to enter the info again. Is there a way to make the phone remember so that I don't have to enter it every time.

From Menu > More > Settings there is a check box for Always keep me signed in, but that doesn't help

thanks

Wirelessly posted (magically pimptastik!!!!)

Why not just pop you gmail to the bb and thus save yourself the hassle

Just go through the BB email setup

I would agree...one of the best features of the BB is the always connected email...no need to sign into a website when you can get it sent direct to your phone. Welcome to BB and enjoy your Pearl!

Have you tried installing gmail's mobile app? I used to use pop3 to get my gmail on my bb, but I much prefer their application. Mobile
