okay i have no damn clue what i did just now. it said enter a key store password to trust a certificate... well dumb me thought i had to come up with a new one cause i dont remember ever setting one. so i try and try and then it says wiping handheld. i was like wtf is going on so all my numbers and settings are gone. is there any way to get that stuff back if i didnt backup my blackberry and what is a key store anyways and why would RIM do such a stupid thing to make it wipe your blackberry. this is so frustrating

If you dont have a backup and are not synching them wirelessly then there is no way to get them back.

oh crap okay thanks but why would blackberry make somethin so stupid to wipe your hole blackberry, and how come my apps and stuff are still there but no settings and numbers i thought wiping it gets rid of everything???

Stupid? I for one am glad it does that.
If you enjoy the possibility of a stranger who found your BB knowing all your personal details then more power to you, I dont though.

Not stupid, great feature and it gave you plenty of warning it was going to wipe. You even had to type the word blackberry to continue.

These feature are well documented and the reason people choose the BlackBerry.
