Default Problem with Seido Extended Battery

Please Login to Remove!

I recently began having problems with my Seidio extended battery for my 8130. When my phone would ring or I would try to call my voicemail I could not hear anything at all, other people on the line could hear me. I tried to do a hard reset by removing the battery. But it won't turn back on and all I get is the battery symbol with a red line through it. The battery was fully charged so it could'nt be just a dead battey. I tried to let it sit for a while and it does the same thing. The wierd thing is when I put in the original Blackberry battery it resets and works fine. Should I contact Seidio about the battery, it's only maybe 3-4 months old. Could the battery be dead already?

Sounds to me like the Seidio battery contacts aren't contacting with the ones in the Blackberry. I doubt if the battery is dead (but it could be). If your OEM battery works then I'd contact Seidio for a replacement. They are good at customer service IMO. I have purchased several of their BB accessories, including an extended battery (mine has been fine).
