Default Battery proplems

I searched and read my post concerning battery problems but couldn't find an answer to my *%&^&$ problem. I can charge my phone and with a few hours it's dead blinking red. Is this a problem with these batteries or do I need a new one, if so are they covered under warranty? I had the phone less than a year. Thanks!!!!

You may be able to talk a T-Mobile store into exchanging it. Are you sure you are not running any third party apps that are talking to the network a lot?

I don't think batteries are normally under the warranty. Your individual TMo store may treat you different.

1. Blinking red does not indicate a dead battery until it hits below 15%, otherwise it indicates a received message or alert. Blinking yellow or amber does indicate a low battery status.

2. You might want to read this link... some info you could use. Battery Use Tips for your Maximum Battery Life | BlackBerryNews.com

Mistake, it is a blinking yellow light and not red. Not sure what apps might be running. Would Yahoo go and Facebook be one? I did find today that I had accuweather opened, guess that could be drawing power. What about being logged in on gmail or yahoo in your browser?
