Default Help please

Please Login to Remove!

I just bought a blackberry pearl not to long ago.I had it for a month.Here what happened I left it on the back of my car and drove away.Dumb I know but was a hour late and........So now it just show a pic of a battey with a slash through it.I got a new battety but it still does the same.I have tryed to use a battery from a friends blackberry like mine,that was fully charged but still no help.a friend told me that it may have somthing to do with the os so I tried a wipe but couldnt get it to work.Do you guys know what I can do?is it the os or.......If so what do you think I should do?As I said I tried the wipe ith no luck maybe I did somthing wrong.Bytheway I used the help for the wipe from a page here.Thank to anyone that could help me

Sounds like a hardware issue then if a fully charged battery does boot it up.

Yeah this definitely sounds like a hardware issue, you may have over heated a part.

There is a piece underneath the battery of which if the color has changed, it would mean "water damage" and disqualify you from getting a replacement or fix.

I would look into all the reasons why your phone provider/blackberry won't replace or fix it, make sure you're not going to run into any of those, then play dumb and go to the store. Get them to send it away and get it fixed.

So pretty much I am screwed....I cant return it or get a new one so.....man dropped once and its broke.Wish I knew about electronic would take it apart and try to fix
