Hey I'm new to here and I just got a new 8130 from Bell. The problem is that I want my BB to support Chinese characters (or at least viewing them, dispite the inputing). I saw in the sticky thread that you can install the OS from Singapore or HK telecom website, but all OS I found there support only 8120.

I'm just wondering if there's any difference between the two OS for 8120 and 8130...if I install a 8120 OS on my 8130 would that cause any problem?

It's not possible to install the 8120 OS on a 8130.
You can only install an 8130 OS on an 8130.

I'm not sure if there's an 8130 OS with Chinese support, yet.

Just by deleting the vender.xml file and add the chinese font .alx and .cod file using application loader. No need to change the OS/.

still looking for Chinese input tho.
