I'm looking to sell my 8100 on ebay for parts or a cheap option for someone; I've upgraded.
I've done the Option>>Security Options>>General Settings>>Menu>Wipe Handheld to restore it back to factory settings.
I'm wondering if this is enough to trust it in someone else's hands? Everything appears to be gone, but I still have concerns.

Also, if I'm selling it- is it safe to assume it can still be used with the ATT network as long as they have their SIM Card? Would they need to call ATT and have it changed over?

Just looking for some info here, anything you can offer would be greatly appreciated!

as long as you wiped your handheld, you have nothing to worry about. as far as the at&t issue, if they have an activated at&t sim card and they put it in, it will work. now, if they have a tmobile sim card of course it wont work.

Make certain you remove you PIN from the the BIS account on ATT, or the new user won't be able to activate it for service.

I've already changed my pin online (where I go to edit my email and settings) to my new BB, is that all I need to do?
