Question to tether or att wireless air card

i have the 8100 pearl i tether, would i get faster surfing webb with a air card or about the same, 95% of time in a rual places , if a air card what kind i have att on my cell, thanks for any in put.

you would get faster with the card as the BB runs off of EDGE and the card is on their 3G network. however, you will be ppaying extra for the card (50 a month i believe)

AT&T's plan is 59.95 a month for unlimited data. I have had mine for 6 months now. It is a good bit faster than when I had my Pearl tethered.

I love the aircard. Mine is actually the one that just plugs into the USB port. It has been very reliable so far.

I believe that att carries edge and 3G cards. I would go to a store and are to be sure. But your better off with 3G if you want fast internet on demand
