Opera is a good browser but I prefer the bb browser.
To get it working you need to go to options > advanced options > TCP and enter your carriers APN settings onto the device.
A few battery pulls after installation may be required.

You only get the BB browser when you have a blackberry internet service plan/tariff. If you have a globe icon on the phone then that is the blackberry browser but it won't work without a data plan.

I've got used to it I guess
Glad to hear you got things sorted.
Try opera and see if you like it, lots of people prefer it to the BB browser.
The BB browser is required for OTA downloads though so don't delete it whatever you do.

That was quick lol
It is good for some sites though & I prefer to set it on 'mobile view' rather than zooming in and out all the time.
