I am getting frustrated I am trying to dl some programs but I can not do it, If i try to dl it directly to the phone it doesn't work because of no Zip file on the phone, then if I try to dl it to a computer I get on the desktop software and hit the button to add programs and it doesn't find them, I am new to this phone can some one give me a step by step instruction on loading these programs, is there a specific file I have to load these in or is there one that they go in that I need to find
thanks

Zip files are done via desktop manager.

Download zip, double click it to extract the .alx file.

Plug in bb open desktop manager, select application loader, select add then browse to and click on the .alx. This puts it in the loader, click next and then next again or finish.

Hope that helps.

anything in a zip file has to be done through desktop manager and will be in a file format like .alx. usually it will be specified if the file is an ota (over-the-air) file that can be downloaded through the internet on your bb and will be in a file format like .jar or .jad.
