Default 8100 Wireless? 0_0

I'm just wondering how exactly does wireless work? I see an option on my screen to toggle wireless on and off but no idea what it does. Seeing as I'm a bit new to cellphones, I was thinking it was where you could connect to a wireless router but I believe I heard that was only for 8120s or something? As you can see, I'm not very sure; help is appreciated.

The "wireless" you see refers to the wireless carrier network, in your case, I am assuming TMobile, over their EDGE network.

There is no WiFi option on your 8100, if that should be your question.

Are you talking about the radio tower symbol? That turns the devices radio attenna on and off.
