Default 2 questions on Sprint's Pearl

#1 - Why the heck can't I send picture messages? I used to be able to with my Samsung SPH-A900 flip phone. I've got a nicer camera now and want to share the pictures. I know I can email them, but obviously sending them to another phone is what I'd LIKE to do.

#2 - Is there a free turn-by-turn navigation software out there? I've got GPS built-in here, but would like to use the phone as a nice nav system. I'd rather not pay for Sprint's service. If I MUST pay for a package, what should I get that gives me the best bang for the buck?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

1. MMS is not supported on the BB by Sprint. I don't know why. Never has been.

2. There is not much for free. I use TeleNav ($9.95 / month) Google Maps is free but doesn't have the voice prompts for turn by turn.

The $30 (Blackberry plan) package gets you texting, navigation, basic Spint TV channels, and unlimited data (5 gig per month).

I have been playing with Nav4All and it is free. It says it has voice prompts, but I have not been on a trip to test them out yet.. just got it a week ago and worked most of that time.. will try out this weekend..
