media card issues with 4.5
 

I continue to have problems with the media card (micro sd 2 gb)
4.5 works fine without a card in
with a card it worked great for a few days then started freezing- typically at startup but sometimes in midstream
when I take out the chip everything returns to normal

I tried reformatting the micro sd chip under 4.5 and it works for a few minutes then begins to freeze

power down ( battery removal ) doesnt help

any ideas ???
should I try reinstalling os 4.5?

how would one do that
