Default Pearl with Wi-Fi

Please Login to Remove!

Ok, so I have a Pearl 8120 (T-Mobile), upon the upgrade I removed my BIS and now I'm just using my Wi-Fi to connect to the internet. I still get data through my provider because I kept my email feature, I just don't care to pay for web browsing since I have wifi. So here's my question, I'm trying to access mobile.blackberry.com from my device, but everytime I do it brings me to a page that says that the page is designed to be accessed through a blackberry handheld device. What I figure is that since it's not accessing the page through the BIS it thinks I'm a laptop... but I'm not, is there any way I can access this site using my phone's wi-fi and telling the site I'm on a device, and not on a computer?
I would like some of the themes and features available on this site, but I can't access them.

Which browser are you using? If you're using Opera then that could be the problem there. Try using the Blackberry browser.

set your browser config to "hotspot browser".

but even after u do that, you cannot access the blackberry site as it runs through BIS. you can surf any other site you please, though.
