I have woken up today and although I have the GPRS displayed any emails I've tried to send today (from two different accounts) are just sitting there with the timer icons next to them. I am on orange in the uk and have checked my primary email account online and it is fine. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks its doing my head in. PS:- I am recieving emails fine

have you tried hard resetting your phone or calling your provider to see if there's any issues with BIS?

emails are also sending fine via UMA but not directly through GPRS

Summary: Blackberry outage Affecting Orange Users.

Just to make you all aware there is a major Blackberry outage which will effect all blackberry's on the Orange network.

This issue is being managed by Orange, and as soon as an update becomes available I'll let you know.

My phone gets quirkly every now and then as well. On occasion, I can receive texts and e-mails but can send....a reset has fixed the problem everytime.
