Ok... All of the sudden, my "Application Loader" on Desktop Mgr went MIA. I uninstalled and reinstalled 4.3. Now it's still not there. Any ideas as to what happened? I would really like to put this application on my phone... but i seem to be having technical difficulties. HELP PLZ!!!!!

Go to control panel and uninstall it, go to "RUN' regedit and look for a remaining file in the registry with the DM name or relevance, because most apps don't FULLY uninstall...and then reinstall, may fix it for ya!

Before you do any drastic registry editing, simply reboot your PC from start and see if Desktop Manager appears.

I've tried the rebooting.... same thing. NADA

So--DM is not installed? Look at your Control Panel > Add or Remove Software. Does it appear there to remove?

It sounds like you need to install it again, honestly.

I'm uninstalling it now... what happens if i have a different version of desktop software, as to what version i have on my phone???? Anything major?

You don't have desktop software on your phone/Blackberry.

You can have Desktop Manager 4.2 or 4.3 on your PC, and have OS 4.2, 4.3 or 4.5 on your handheld.

The two version numbers of Desktop Manager and handheld Operating System do not need to be the same.

awsome then, i'll just put 4.2 back on... if i didn't already delete the app....
