Hey all, I'm having trouble getting my 8gb MicroSDHC recognized by my 8110.
Are that size cards only usable with the 8130? My computer can recognize and use it, so I know it's not DOA. I have OS version 4.3 for the phone, have enabled media support on the phone via Options->Media Card. Trouble is, I cannot format the card on the phone because the phone does not see that it is there. It's default format is FAT32, should I use the computer to change it to NTFS? Any help would be great, don't wanna waste 50 bucks.

Jock, 8gb size Media Cards are usable in ANY BB device of OS 4.3+, there is no correlation to the BB model number, only the OS version on the device.

Make sure you are unplugged from the USB when you try to access the card to format it, as Mass Storage Enabled will disable the BB view of the card while connected via USB.

Just got it to work! I needed to disable mass storage mode. Rather unintuitive, but hey I guess it works. Now can I just drag and drop music into the card via windows explorer or do I need to use the desktop manager?
